Experienced Tellers Vacancy
This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading and ambitious Credit Union in South Dublin with over 48,000 members and assets in excess of €200 million.
Capital Credit Union wishes to appoint a number of full-time Experienced Tellers to provide friendly, efficient and excellent frontline services to members whether at the counter, by phone, letter or email. The Teller will handle loan and insurance administration and perform a range of supporting tasks.
Assist members with all aspects of Credit Union business
Dealing with members concerning lodgements and withdrawals
Opening accounts for and providing information about Credit Union services to new members
Processing standing order payments / EFTs from members
Dealing with member queries
Cash balancing and reporting
Efficiently dealing with members’ queries concerning loans in person, on the phone and by email
General office administration duties
The ideal person will:
Have at least 2 years current or previous Credit Union/Financial Services experience
Have an aptitude for numbers/numeracy, handling money and balancing cash
Be able to maintain records and files, electronic and paper-based, in a highly compliant and organised manner
Be a strong oral communicator
Have the ability to develop and maintain good rapport and friendly and professional relationships with members
Have a pleasant manner and empathy when dealing with members
While it would be desirable to have a CUA / QFA qualification, it is not essential, and the candidate will be provided with education funding and study leave in order to gain the CUA qualification
