Members,

Please note that from May 31st 2021, our banking provider will be retiring the CU Anywhere mobile app.

In September 2019, we advised members that the CU Anywhere app was not going to be compliant with the requirements of PSD2 Strong Customer Authentication which is why the decision has been taken to retire the app.

This will have no impact on our web-based online banking service CUOnline+.

What Does This Mean & Am I Affected?

This will only affect you if you are using the app with the badge pictured on the left.

The CU Anywhere app will be removed from app stores from May 31st 2021 meaning that members can no longer search for or download the app.

For those members who have the CU Anywhere app installed – the app will no longer function

 

What Should You Do Next?

This will only affect you if you are using the app with the badge pictured on the left.

Thankfully, Capital Credit Union members will face no disruption as you can sign onto our web-based online banking service CUOnline+. If you have not already done so, you can save the CUOnline+ access on your mobile phone as a tile, so that it looks like any other app.
