Our 58th AGM will take place online at 7pm on Wednesday 4th December 2024.
The 58th Annual General Meeting of Capital Credit Union will be held online via the Zoom webinar platform at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 4th, 2024.
Capital Credit Union’s 2024 Annual General Meeting is being held online again this year due to the record attendance and participation at our previous virtual AGMs.
The closing date for AGM attendance registration is the close of business on Friday, 29th November 2024.
In order to register, you will need to confirm your identity. To do this, you will be asked to provide the following details:
When you successfully register for the AGM, you will be sent a Zoom link on the day before the AGM date.
The Zoom link is a simple ‘one click’ link and you do not need to download additional software. The Zoom link will work on your desktop, laptop, tablet, or mobile phone. If you do not have access to any of the above, there is also a phone number on the Zoom link, which you can dial from a landline phone to just listen in to the AGM, should you wish to.
You will receive links to additional documentation, such as Minutes and Standing Orders in an email from Capital Credit Union in advance of the AGM date.
To join the AGM on the night of 4th December, click the Zoom link. You will be admitted to the waiting room while you wait for the AGM to commence. In advance of the starting time of 7 p.m., you will see some slides with useful information.
When you are admitted to the virtual AGM, Capital Credit Union officers will be on screen and will start the proceedings. To allow for the smooth running of the AGM, all non-presenting participants at the AGM will be muted and have their cameras switched off for the duration of the meeting. Members may submit questions via the ZOOM Q&A function, and these will be addressed during the AGM or followed up with the member as soon as possible after the AGM.
Voting will take place online via the Zoom platform. The ballot papers will appear on the screen at the appropriate times—the Chair of the meeting will draw your attention to this when required. You will simply select your option(s) and vote on the screen. The voting is anonymous and conducted by secret ballot.
