Payslip (This must show your employer)
Letter / Email from Employer (The letter should be on headed paper. The email should contain an official signature which includes the name of the person confirming the applicant’s employment status, their role and the company they represent)

If you wish to reactivate or update your account, you must provide up to date documentation i.e your proof of I.D and your proof of current address along with completing our Member Update Form.

How long will I have to wait before I can apply for a loan?

You can apply for a loan on the same day you become a member, loans are assessed on your ability to meet your repayments and not the amount of savings you have. 

Who Can Join Capital Credit Union?

Anyone who is Living, Working or Studying in our catchment area can join Capital Credit Union.

Our catchment area includes most parts of Dublin 2, 4, 6, 6W, 8, 12, 14, 16, 18 and North Wicklow.

What Do I Need To Join Capital Credit Union?

  • Proof of ID (Valid passport or driving license)
  • Proof of Address (utility bill, bank statement, letter from a government department – dated within the last 6 months)
  • €10 as a minimum share balance
  • Proof of Work/Study (Only necessary if you qualify by Living or Working in the catchment area)

What Happens After I Submit The Application?

A Member Services Officer will call you to confirm the account has been opened or if we need any additional information.

If everything is correct, the Member Services Officer will introduce you to Capital Credit Union and the benefits of being a Member.
