Capital Credit Union is delighted to announce the winners of the 2023 Higher Education Scholarship Draw!
Overview
2023 was another busy year for the Capital Credit Union’s Higher Education Scholarship with almost 300 entries!
Applications were divided between Capital Credit Union’s €1,500 Scholarship for those in a Level 7 or higher and those applying for the €500 Scholarship who were studying a Level 5/6 on the NFQ.
Supporting education and young people in the community is a core ethos of Capital Credit Union, which was a primary factor in introducing the Scholarship.
Since its launch, the Scholarship has been a huge success, especially since the introduction of the Level 5/6 Scholarship which makes it even more inclusive – allowing anyone from a PLC to a PhD to apply!

I have previously worked passionately in disability and elderly services, a cause close to my heart, and worked with RADE (Recovery through Arts and Drama) in Dublin. I’ve been a member of Capital Credit Union since I was 8. I am currently studying Level 6 Business Management at TUD Aungier street. My course is for 2 years after which I hope to progress to Level 8 Business and Management course. I am so happy to have won €500 in the scholarship draw.
