May was a busy month for Capital Credit Union! We were focused on serving our members and giving back to our community.

Sponsorships
This Is Me Neurodiversity – Once again, we are delighted to be sponsoring This Is Me Neurodiversity and their Summer Camps which offers a genuine alternative to mainstream camps with qualified Additional Needs Assistants for children participating in the camps.
St. Patricks Cathedral Grammar School – This sponsorship went towards Mr. Whippy the Ice Cream Van during the schools Annual Sport’s Day, rewarding the students and staff with ice cream for finishing off the year!
St. Tiernan’s Community School – Capital Credit Union was proud to sponsor the community school towards their Green Project, which involved the removal of two troublesome trees allowing the school to repair their greenhouse.
Sandymount Gospel Choir – We were delighted to sponsor Sandymount Gospel Choir, a choir of 40 people who run a concert annually attended by roughly 200 people. All proceeds are donated to Tiglin, a charity which helps people overcome addiction, homelessness and other life-controlling issues.
Going Green Grant
Catholic University School – Catholic University School were recipients of our Going Green Grant. This helped them build a new Weather Station that monitors the air quality and weather patterns of their location.
Signed Chloe Mustaki Jersey Giveaway
In support of the Women’s European Championship Qualifiers, Capital Credit Union gave away a jersey signed by Irish footballer Chloe Mustaki through a social media competition!
Our lucky winner was Deirdre Howard! Thank you to everyone that participated.

In terms of lending, May has been another busy month for Capital Credit Union.
We have issued 825, nearing to €4.5 million in loans with an average loan amount of €5,425.
