For the third consecutive year, Credit Unions have topped the Ireland RepTrak® study, earning an “Excellent” reputation score of 82.4. This annual index, compiled by The Reputations Agency, measures the public’s perception of Ireland’s largest and most visible organisations. The result is based on the views of over 5,000 members of the public, making it a true reflection of the trust and respect Credit Unions have earned nationwide.
Why This Matters
Credit Unions were recognised for their outstanding performance in key areas such as Citizenship, Conduct, and Workplace. The study highlighted the sector’s sincerity, fairness, and strong connection to local communities. As David Malone, CEO of the Irish League of Credit Unions, stated, this recognition is a testament to the movement’s unwavering commitment to putting people before profits and supporting members through both good times and challenging periods.
