Overview

Balally FRC is a community-led organisation responding to the needs of families and children in the locality. Capital Credit Union has supported several initiatives by Balally FRC in recent years, including their Happy Club and Jump Club.

Balally FRC approached Capital Credit Union for a business loan after they learned that we provide loans through BizFin – Business Finance, Made Simple. BizFin is a collaboration between Credit Unions to offer business and community loans in their catchment areas.

What This Means?

Balally FRC has grown significantly in recent years with more and more people using their services. As Sarah-Jane, Development Officer, pointed out space is very tight and this sometimes impacts the experience of clients.

By purchasing a new unit with a loan from Capital Credit Union, Balally FRC will be able to double its capacity. This means more services for the local community, especially for those who need them.
