Last Saturday, the Capital Credit Union team members joined over 300 volunteers in Greystones, Co. Wicklow, for Reforest Nation’s Annual Tree Planting Day. Despite the harsh February weather, the event was a huge success, filled with community spirit and environmental action. Reforest Nation, a recipient of our 2022 Community Development Fund, is working to expand the Freedom Forest – Europe’s largest Miyawaki-inspired forest planted in solidarity with the people of Gaza and Ukraine. We proudly support their mission of creating a greener future and were thrilled to get hands-on with this impactful initiative. Thank you to everyone who participated and made this day so special!
