Capital Credit Union is pleased to offer Fixed-Term Deposit Accounts, delivering a secure, guaranteed way to grow your savings and strengthen your financial future.

Key Features
  • The Government Deposit Guarantee covers Deposit Accounts
  • Scheme.
  • Minimum amount: €2,500.
  • Maximum amount: €65,000
  • Lodgments to deposit accounts are carried out by means of a one-off
  • transfer from your share account.
  • No withdrawals are permitted during the chosen term. A premature withdrawal means you forfeit any interest earned and close your deposit account.
  • The Fixed Term period will start on the date of opening your account
    and will end on the Maturity Date applicable to the account you selected
  • All interest earned will be subject to DIRT, which will be deducted from the source at the applicable rate unless you are entitled to DIRT exemption.
  • Interest is payable monthly to the Deposit Account.
  • Your Life Savings Cover will not be impacted by setting up a Deposit Account.
  • You may open more than one of each Deposit Account type to a
    maximum of €65,000 combined.
