On Sunday, 8th December, Capital Credit Union was delighted to help bring the festive spirit to Sandymount with a special tree-lighting ceremony outside our branch. Over 100 members of the local community joined us to celebrate this magical occasion, made possible through our €1,000 sponsorship of BADRA (Bath Avenue and District Residents Association).

The event was a true showcase of community spirit. Local resident Mr. Tilly led the countdown to light the beautiful tree, which now stands proudly as a beacon of Christmas cheer outside our Sandymount branch. The evening was made even more memorable thanks to The Bath Pub, who generously provided food and hot drinks for all attendees.

We were thrilled to open our branch as part of the celebration, creating a warm and welcoming space for neighbours to gather and share in the festive joy.
